A Chicken Afraid to Cross The Road

Many people have heard the popular joke the begins by asking,

"Why did the chicken cross the road?"  

In this 6th book of the Coping Crew Series, however, the question is asked instead,

"Why won't the chicken cross the road?"

Chester the chicken struggles with his desire to set foot out of his front door to play in the park across the street and his fear of what might happen if he does.
